UTS has conducted ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit from 10 ~ 13 September 2024 organized by Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA). The objectives of this internal audit are to ensure adequate procedures, processes and controls are in place for the operation of each activity under the Centres/Departments/Schools and to assess the effectiveness of the UTS Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance to the MS ISO 9001:2015.

The internal audit was led by Ms. Nurul Ain Hifrawi as Lead Auditor and assisted by a total of 27 internal auditors. Both opening and closing meeting were conducted in hybrid mode which chaired by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shahril Osman and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab. Hamid respectively. All staffs were invited to join the meeting through Google Meet to provide awareness of UTS future towards ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The internal audit has received full cooperation from all department/centre/school. We hope that the involvement of all UTS staff can increase the awareness on UTS Quality Policy as we are moving towards ISO 9001:2015 certification.
